XLCR, Holmwood to Meet in Repeat of Schoolgirl Football Final

Excelsior and Holmwood will meet in the final of the ISSA/Tip Friendly Society Schoolgirls’ Football competition for the third straight season.

The match is set for Stadium East, on Wednesday afternoon.

Eight-time defending champions Excelsior booked their place in the final after beating Garvey Maceo 5-0 in semifinal one.

Holmwood advanced after stopping Merl Grove 5-3 on penalties in semifinal two.

Meanwhile, Merl Grove and Garvey Maceo will meet in the third place play-off at the same venue.
