Ekklesia Bible Fellowship has been sharing the gospel at Jamaica's Carnival road march for over 13 years. In a conversation with The Gleaner, Pastor Barry Hall explained that the church's goal is to create a “judgement-free zone”.

“It is so important that Jesus said he didn’t come to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved,” Hall said. “Our message is not one of condemnation, our message is one of love, of power, and of grace; that Christ came and died for sinners. And who are sinners? All of us,” he added.

Pastor Hall and members of the church were seen along Hope Road as the Xodus Carnival band passed by.

They handed out bottles of water with a message about the “true living water” printed on them.

Hall shared that although he feels his church’s efforts aren't fully supported by other religious groups, he has no intention of slowing down.

“My advice to other churches interested in this type of evangelism is to join us. Although, I feel many of them won’t take it up [but] Ekklesia will be here,” Pastor Hall added.
