The 2024 -2025 season has seen the Jamaican national relay records rewritten numerous times.
The 2025 Neville Alexander Memorial meet which had its last day of action on May 11 saw the national mark fall in the 11-12 girls’ 800 metre freestyle relay.
The quartet of Kai Lawson, Emanuelle Spence, Anna-Lyssa Cooke and Leah-Paige Phillips lowered the old mark of 10:07.65 to 10:02.06.
Spence says she has been motivated all season.
