12 Fillies Selected for Jamaica 1000 Guineas at Caymanas

Twelve fillies, all three-year-old, have been officially nominated to race in the 2024 – Jamaica 1000 Guineas at Caymanas Park, on Saturday.

The first leg of the triple crown will run over 8-furlongs for a purse of 3-point-75 million dollars.

The Ian Parsard trained “Run Julie Run” breaking from pole position seven will start as favourite after winning the Portmore by 10-and-a-half length.

Other strong contenders includes, “Banadura”, winner of the Hotline and Thornbird Stakes races.

Come home tome, Rosetta, Blu Sensation and Dancing Aviator are also strong contenders.

Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited Chairman, Solomon Sharpe, says anticipation for the the race is already building.

The promoters will also be launching the new digital timing system at the park.
