12 Young People Receive Scholarships for Climate-Friendly Cooling Training

Twelve aspiring refrigeration and air-conditioning technicians have received scholarships as Belize continues its transition to more climate-friendly cooling technologies. The awards were presented by the Department of the Environment’s National Ozone Unit in observance of World Ozone Day. The programme is also opening new doors for women in a field traditionally dominated by men. Reporter Paul Diaz has the story.
