Montego Bay has churned many dancehall stars over the past two decades and according to many musical pundits, recording artist 1ONEKICKBOSS is the next Montegoian in line for stardom.

Born Mark Kirkpatrick but known professionally as 1ONEKICKBOSS, this rising deejay/singjay is quickly rising to prominence from the gritty streets of Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica. According to the artiste, he blends the raw energy of dancehall with melodic singjay stylings and has carved out a niche for himself with a sound that is both authentic and evolving.

Music’s been in his blood, but it was in Grade 9 that 1ONEKICKBOSS started taking it seriously—writing, recording, and performing to share his truth. Passion turned into purpose, and he’s since grown into a versatile artist with something real to say.

Raised in MoBay, his lyrics reflect the struggles and strength of his hometown—honest and motivational. Blending street reality with emotion and lyrical skill, 1ONEKICKBOSS brings a voice that stands out in the Jamaican music scene.

Currently, 1ONEKICKBOSS is busy promoting his new single entitled Haffi Rich as well as gearing up to release his EP on July 4, 2025. 1ONEKICKBOSS is also in the studio working with top-flight producers such as JAforlife, who has produced for the likes of Popcaan, Chronic Law, and MOJO Morgan. He is also set to tour Guyana in August alongside Jamal and Tommylee Sparta.
