#2024JAI | Hughes clocks sub-20 in men’s 200m

Great Britain’s Zharnel Hughes, similar to teammate Dina Asher-Smith, was the toast of the 200 metres, as he took the men’s equivalent at the Jamaica Athletics Invitational inside the National Stadium tonight.

Hughes was the sole competitor to run sub-20 seconds as he crossed the tape in 19.96. United States of America’s Fred Kerley was second in 20.17 and France’s Pablo Mateo third in 20.20.
