2nd Test between West Indies and Bangladesh delayed due to wet outfield

The second Test between the West Indies and Bangladesh at Sabina Park in Kingston is set for a delayed start due to a wet outfield.

After three inspections at 11a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., the umpires decided that the conditions have improved and that the toss will be spun at 2:30 p.m. for a 3 p.m. start.

Fresh off a commanding 201-run victory in the first Test, the hosts are confident and determined to deliver another dominant performance and try to win their first Test series of the calendar year.

Ironically, the last time the West Indies had a series sweep was back in 2022 against Bangladesh.

This is the first time in three years that Sabina Park will get a taste of Test match action.
