Forty teams from 10 organisations have registered for the sixth staging of the Genesis Cup football competition at Manchester High school, on May 25 and 26.
The teams will compete across six age categories: Under-8 co-ed, Under-10 co-ed, Under-12 co-ed, Under-14 boys, Under-16 boys and Under-16 girls.
For the first time, the tournament will have an international flavour with five teams participating from Trinidad and Tobago.
These are, Cox Coaching School with two teams, Duranta Football Academy one team and Ultimate Unison Football Academy with two teams.
In addition to the championship trophies and medals, second place and third place medals the Golden Boot, Golden Glove, Golden Ball and MVP individual awards will be up for grabs in each category.
The losing quarterfinalists will also contest the Plate Championships.
This means all teams can expect to play a total of six games over the two days of competition.
