Trinidad and Tobago will be represented by its second-largest contingent at the Carifta Games, with a delegation of 92 members comprising 74 athletes and 18 officials. The Games will be held from April 4-6 at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium in St George’s, Grenada.

The national contingent is scheduled to depart Trinidad and Tobago on April 2 and will return on April 7.

The team reflects a balanced mix of returning Carifta competitors and emerging young athletes who have delivered strong performances throughout the season.

Among those expected to play key roles for Trinidad and Tobago at this year’s Games are defending decathlon and heptathlon gold medallists Tyrique and Tenique Vincent, widely known as the “Invincible Twins,” along with Girls Under-17 middle-distance standout Oshea Cummings.

Alexxe Henry, currently ranked among the top three in the world in the Girls U-20 100m, is also expected to be among the leading contenders in that event.

Jaydon Goodridge, who is presently ranked among the top three globally in the Boys Under-18 400m, will be one to watch, while rising star Eden Chee Wah will be aiming to make her mark in the Girls U-17 200m.
