86th Running of Jamaica Oaks Take Centre Stage at Caymanas

The 86th running of the Jamaica Oaks will take centre stage at Caymanas Park on Saturday, August 2.

The 11-horse field will include the pair of Woman In Love and Roaring Kitty, thoroughbreds trained by Peter-John Parsard.

Woman In Love will be ridden by reigning champion jockey Raddesh ‘Sneaky Fox’ Roman who leads the current standings with 75 wins.

Roman believes he has a real shot at claiming victory in the highly coveted event.

Dane Dawkins will be aboard Roaring Kitty and he too is confident heading in.

The Gary Subratie-trained Pretty Perfect will have one of the most successful jockeys in the Oaks in the saddles.

Four-time winner of the event Shane Ellis will be on duty and according to Subratie this might be the secret ingredient to defeat his rivals.
