Ackeem Blake Wins 100m at Continental Tour Meet in Berlin

Jamaica’s Ackeem Blake won the men’s 100m at the Istaf World Continental Tour Meet in Berlin, Germany on Sunday.

Blake sped to 10.05 seconds to win ahead of Owen Ansah of Germany 10.18 seconds.

Former Edwin Allen standout Christania Williams clocked 11.39 seconds for sixth in the women’s 100m.

In the 110m hurdles, 2020 Olympic champion Hansle Parchment equalled his season’s best to finish third in 13.26 seconds. Tatsuki Abe of Japan won in 13.23 seconds. Another Jamaican in the event LaFranz Campbell was eighth in 13.59 seconds.

Danniel Thomas-Dodd was third in the women’s shot put with 18.82 meters. Victory went to Fanny Roos of Sweden with 19.04 meters.
