Adidas’ Charm Offensive: ‘We Want to Work with the JAAA’

Sports goods manufacturers Adidas has released a statement as the discussions over their multi-year multi-billion dollar sponsorship proposal to the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association, JAAA, continue.

Spencer Nel, Adidas senior director of sports marketing, says in the release that the JAAA is one of the best track and field federations in the world, with an incredible history.

Nel says Adidas is always looking to collaborate with leading federations across sports and would welcome the opportunity to work with the JAAA in the future.

In the release, Nel also pointed to Adidas’ long and successful history of working with leading Jamaican athletes and their sponsorships of numerous high schools, along with their heavy investment in sports development at both the grassroots and elite levels.

Nel also highlighted Adidas fruitful partnership with the Racers Track and Field Club which managed the careers of the likes of Usan Bolt and Yohan Blake.
