I robotics firm AIBotics is locking in its Caribbean entry, advancing its acquisition of Jamaica-based NovaCore Labs, and accelerating real-world robot deployments across the island.
This isn’t a pilot economy-it’s live. Robots are already operating in a major supermarket chain and being tested in top hotel properties, pushing automation into high-traffic, revenue-generating environments.
NovaCore, led by CEO Gregory Moore and COO Ryan Moore, has quietly built one of Jamaica’s most credible digital innovation platforms. The company launched the country’s first Google Street View car, developed VR gaming experiences, and partnered with the government on national digital projects-evolving from a 2018 VR startup into a serious AI and infrastructure player.
Backed by Keenon Robotics and Google Cloud, NovaCore gives AIBotics immediate ground presence, enterprise access, and technical depth.
The deal, first signaled in an October 2025 LOI, is now moving toward close-turning Jamaica into a launchpad for scaling robotics across tourism, retail, healthcare, and public infrastructure.
The takeaway: the Caribbean isn’t waiting on automation. It’s becoming a proving ground.
