Aidonia is apologizing to UK fans following his performance at Sandz on the weekend.
In his Instagram story, Aidonia wrote, “Sorry to all my fans in the UK. Gotta make this up to you. Gotta make it right!!! Nuff love.”
According to reports, Aidonia’s performance was cut short due to time constraints. He only managed to perform a few songs before the lights were cut, sparking chaos as video clips circulating online show angry patrons hurling bottles toward the stage in protest.
Vanessa Bling, who was also booked for the event, delivered a sing-along set, but things quickly soured when she dropped the microphone and walked off due to what appeared to be technical glitches. The crowd responded with loud boos. Though Vanessa Bling later returned to the stage and was joined by Aidonia, many fans complained online that the show was riddled with issues and the artists appeared far too late.
While some blamed the organizers, others argued that Jamaican entertainers need to understand the strict timing of overseas events, where once the clock hits closing time, the show is over—unlike in Jamaica where flexibility is common.
Frustrated fans flooded social media demanding refunds. One person wrote, “They kept on cutting off Vanessa Bling mic. Aidonia not even perform. Wasted my money. I need a refund. Sandz never getting my support again.” Another added, “The event was a flop. We need our money back.”

The Sandz Caribbean Music Festival, which has made stops in London, Toronto, Florida, and New York, will continue its world tour with the next stop in Atlanta this September before returning to Jamaica for shows in October and on January 1, 2026.
