Alaine Finds the ‘Answer’ to Her Prayers in Her New Music Video

Known for songs such as No Ordinary Love, Bye Bye Bye, Sacrifice, and Rise in Love, Alaine is considered by many as one of Jamaica’s best singers. This time, the artiste lends her calming vocals to Answer, one of the featured songs on the Red Fyah Riddim.

Answer was produced by Romeich Major and Slyda Di Wizard, the masterminds behind the Red Fyah Riddim. The Reggae riddim features a diverse mix of both Reggae and Dancehall artistes.

Shot by Romme Visuals and edited by Quan Nelson, Answer‘s music video features simplified sets and backdrops that allow Alaine’s vocals and a couple’s romance to take centre stage. The song’s lyrics are a bold declaration of love, with the singer expressing her feelings openly to the man who is the answer to her prayers.

“I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I love you so. Never gonna let you go. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I want the world to know, you’re the answer to my prayers. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I’ve been loving you so loud. Louder than the loudest thunder. Higher than the highest wonder. You’re the answer to my prayers,” Alaine sings in the song’s chorus.
