Alex Powell Records Three Podium Finishes in Italian F4 Championships

Jamaican Alex Powell continued his first full season in single-seaters by registering triple podium finishes at the first round of the 2024 Italian F4 Championship in Italy, on May 4 and 5.

Powell qualified second for all three races and fought hard throughout to maintain his position and pick up three well-deserved podiums.

Having been runner-up in the three races, he was also the lead rookie in each of them, therefore taking three wins in the Rookie Championship, too.

By virtue of his finishes, Alex is second in the overall Italian F4 Championship standings and leads the rookies’ championship.

Chairman of the JMMC, Stephen Gunter, says it was an excellent start to Powell’s Formula-4 campaign in the Italian Championships.

The second round of the championship will take place at Imola from May 31 to June 2.
