Caribbean Olympic champions, Julien Alfred, Marileidy Paulino and Thea LaFond are among 26 athletes to receive automatic qualification to the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship, next year.
Alfred is the 100 metres champion, Paulino the 400-metres champion while LaFond is the triple jump champion.
All eyes will be on Budapest’s National Athletics Centre when the world’s best will settle the debate to determine the champion of champions over three days and 28 events.
Three hundred and sixty athletes are down to compete.
