As the curtains fall on 2025, Alkaline is set to light up Brooklyn once again as Reggae Fest join forces with New Rules Brooklyn for a surprise return of the Vendetta Boss to the Barclays Center on 21 March 2026. The announcement, delivered by event promoter CJ Milan, arrives just hours after she confirmed the postponement of Mavado’s homecoming concert in Jamaica—signalling that despite year-end disruptions, she is firmly back in the driver’s seat and focused on major productions.

The move follows Alkaline’s commendable performance at last August’s Reggae Fest staging, where he delivered one of the strongest sets of the night. His renewed partnership with the Milan-led team has amplified excitement across dancehall circles, especially as this marks his second confirmed assignment for the new year. In September, the “Ocean Wave” hitmaker was revealed as the headline act for Dream Weekend 2026, which is set to make its historic debut in Montego Bay from 30 July to 3 August. The festival’s move from Negril was driven by logistical constraints, with organisers touting Montego Bay’s modern infrastructure and improved access as a game-changing upgrade.

Alkaline steps into 2026 riding undeniable momentum. His breakout hit Fleek recently surpassed 104 million YouTube views, earning him a place in the elite 100 Million Views Club. His August debut at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center drew valid applause, with fans calling it his best live showing to date—surpassing even his OVO Arena Wembley performance earlier in the year. The summer also delivered back-to-back No. 1 singles on the U.S. iTunes Reggae Songs chart with Priority and Key Man, the latter accompanied by his confident declaration, “Inna the industry, a me a the key man,” a line that sparked days of viral discussion.

With an improving stagecraft, global streaming milestones, and two major live assignments already locked in, Alkaline heads into the new year as one of dancehall’s most in-demand performers. With Reggae Fest and New Rules Brooklyn now joining forces for 2026, fans can expect a high-powered showcase that will further help cement the deejay’s standing on the international stage.

As anticipation builds, all eyes are now on the Vendetta camp to see what else Alkaline has in store for the months ahead.
