Opposition senator, Peter Bunting, has accused the government of contributing to delays in the completion of a construction project at Pratville Primary School in South Manchester.

Bunting is the People’s National Party, PNP, caretaker in South Manchester.

He told the senate last week that the contractor on the project has stopped working because the government has not paid him.

Senator Bunting says the delays are causing severe problems for students across various grades at the school.

Robinson, who was speaking on the Jamaica Politics Uncovered YouTube show, says the scope of work increased as the project unfolded.
