Over 1,800 athletes from 40 schools have so far registered for the third staging of the Ricky Martin Sprint and Relay Primary Schools invitational meet at GC Foster College, on Saturday.
Meet organiser, Ricky Martin, says the schools will be competing for a trophy in the girls and boys categories as well as an overall winner.
Martin says the meet is good preparation for ‘Primary Champs’.

Three track and field personalities will be honoured at the meet, among them well known announcer Donald Smith, Dean Smith and Reginald Reece.
