American Airlines Jet Makes Emergency Landing at PGIA After Engine Failure


An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing at the Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA) this morning, just before twelve o’clock.  Preliminary information is that there was a failure of one of the engines which forced the landing of the flight with more than 170 passengers.  Love News understands that the flight was headed to El Salvador when it experienced the mechanical fault.  Neither the airline nor the Department of Civil Aviation has made an official statement on the incident.
