4 months ago 8

Cricket analyst Vernon Springer says it’s time the West Indies to move on from former captain and opening batter Kraigge Brathwaite.

Brathwaite is yet to reach double figures from four innings in the current Test series against Australia.

He made four in both innings of the first Test in Barbados then nought and seven in game two in Grenada, his 100th Test.

Brathwaite has registered one half century in his last seventeen Test innings.

That score of 52 came against Pakistan in January of this year.

Springer explained that technically the West Indies batting line-up has been brutally expose against an Australian bowling lineup that consists of four of the top ten bowlers in the world.

The third Test will be played at Sabina Park starting on July 12.
