Belize City police are investigating an aggravated burglary at an apartment on Castle Street. Forty-one-year-old Blanca Sulenis De Jesus Mejia Alas told police she was leaving her apartment around 5:50 Sunday morning to prepare for her daily taco sales when two masked and armed men forced her back inside. The men demanded money and stole a pink jewellery box containing an assortment of jewellery. They then fled toward Castle Street. No arrests have been made.
