Arnett Draw a ‘Wake-up Call’ for Frazsiers Whip

Champions and leaders Frazsiers Whip will start favourites when they take on fifth place Mile Gully in the Jamaica Women’s Premier League, at Royal Lakes Sports Complex, on Saturday.

Frazsiers Whip has won 18 of their 19 games this season. Their only blemish came in a 1-1 draw with Arnett Gardens, last Saturday.

Coach of Frazsiers Whip, Courtney Dowdie, says that result was a wake-up call.

Dowdie, says he’ll be resting several of his starting 11 for Saturday’s match.

Meanwhile, Captain Davia Richards says she’s ready to again give of her best if she’s called on for Saturday’s match.

Richards leads the Golden Boot race with 38 goals. She says there’s more to come.

In Saturday’s other fixtures, Springers United welcome Los Perfectos at Granvile Community Centre, Real MoBay face Arnett Gardens at Jarrett Park, Federal United tussle with Proven Girls at Prison Oval and WiFi United play UWI women at Carder Park.

All matches start at 3:30 pm.
