Arnett Gardens goalkeeper Roje Williams is now reportedly in stable condition in hospital, after he was stabbed following a Wray and Nephew Premier League game against Tivoli Gardens at the Tony Spaulding Complex on Monday night.
Williams who joined Arnett Gardens from Vere United at the start of the season, was allegedly stabbed by his girlfriend as he walked home after the goalless draw against Tivoli in the feature game of the double header.
Williams reportedly lost consciousness but he’s now stable and recuperating in hospital.
The draw keeps both teams in their respective positions in the standings before the game with Arnett in third and Tivoli seventh.
Racing United beat Chapelton Maroons 3-0 to move to within a point of the top six.
