Arnett Heads to WJPL Semi-final on Back of 14-1 Win

Arnett Gardens will go into the semi-finals of the Jamaica Women’s Premier League high on confidence following their 14-1 win over Real MoBay in the Jamaica Women’s Premier League, on the weekend.

Shikira Douglas scored six for the Junglists while Shaunalee Johnson scored a double.

Third placed Arnett will now take on second placed Cavalier in semi-final day-1 on July 26.

This will be the third time both teams will meet this season, with the previous two games ending in a draw.

Coach of Arnett, Garnett Lawrence, believes the teams are evenly matched.

Lawrence says his players can handle pressure.
