The Aquatic Sports Association of Jamaica, ASAJ, has ratified eight swimmers for the World Junior Championships in Romania, from August 19-24.
The swimmers are Carolyn Levy-Powell, Christanya Shirley, Leah Chin and Alexandria Cogle. On the boys’ side, Brady Lewison, Noland Barrett, Benjamin Davis and Waldon McIntosh.
Skyelar Richards and Lincoln Tomlinson were listed as alternates.
Despite taking an inexperience team to the championships, Coach Kafia Rapley, has high expectations.
Rapley is also happy Jamaica will be able to contest the relays.
