Australia beat West Indies by 159 runs at the Kensington Oval a short while ago to take a 1-nil lead in their three match test series.

Set 301 for victory the West Indies were dismissed for 141 near the end of the third day.

Shamar Joseph is played a superb cameo he made 44 off 20 balls to top score for the Caribbean team, he shared a half century nith wicket stand with Justin Greaves who got second top score of of 38 not out.

Josh Hazlewood ripped through the heart of the West Indies top order with 5 for 41 with John Campbell 23 and Keacy Carthy 23 providing the only West Indies show of resistance.

The Aussie who resumed the third day on 92 for 4, were bowled out for 310 with steady half centuries from Alex Carey 65, Beau Webster 65 and Travis Head 61

Shamar Joseph bagged 5 for 87 and nine wickets in the game while Alzarrie Joseph claimed 2 for 65.

The teams will now head to Grenada for the second test starting next Thursday.
