Australia Stage Impressive Fight Back Against WI in 2nd Test

Australia produced an impressive fight back to post a respectable 286 all out at close on day one of the second cricket test against West Indies at the national stadium in St. Georges, Grenada.

The tourists were 93 for 4 at one stage with the likes of the returning Steve Smith 3, Usman Khawaja 16, Cameron Green 26 and Sam Konstas 25, all back in the pavilion.

However, Alex Carey 63 and Beau Webster 60 shared in a seventh wickets stand of 112 to bring the Aussies back into the game.

Alzarri Joseph was the pick of the West Indies bowler with 4 for 61, Jayden Seales ended the day with 2 for 45, while there was a wicket apiece for Shamar Joseph, Justine Greaves and Anderson Phillip.
