Bad Bunny shouts out Jamaica and the Americas in superb Super Bowl LX Halftime Show held at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday February 8, 2026. It is the second time the Super Bowl in behind held at the stadium after Super Bowl 50 and the Puerto Rican superstar delivered a love letter to his home country in one of the most culturally unifying moments in recent Super Bowl halftime history, closing his performance with a message that stretched across the Americas and the Caribbean. He declared his all Spanish set:
“God bless America: Canada, United States, Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela. The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
The epic 13 minute halftime show was packed with surprises. Lady Gaga made a special appearance to perform “Die With A Smile,” Karol G and Cardi B also appears as dancers in the “La Casita” segment of Bad Bunny’s set, adding extra star power and high-energy choreography. Other surprises came by way of actor Pedro Pascal and Jessica Alba.

Bad Bunny mostly Spanish set is a first for a Super Bowl headliner and the decision by the NFL and Roc Nation drew criticisms form supporters of Donald Trump who objected to his prominence and cultural visibility.
He has long defended Puerto Rican identity and criticized U.S. government responses to Hurricane Maria and after a comedian at a Trump rally insulted Puerto Rico in 2024, he publicly endorsed Kamala Harris.
So his halftime slot became a symbol in America’s ongoing culture debates about language, immigration, and national identity.
