Bailey Joins AS Roma on Loan From Villa

Jamaican International Leon Bailey has completed a loan deal to join Italian series A outfit AS Roma.

Bailey was left out of the Villa squad for Saturday’s opening weekend of the Premier League as he got permission to finalize talks with Roma.

AS Roma will pay an initial 3 million euros on the loan and has the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season for a further 20 million euros.

Bailey played in 24 games for Villa last season, but only started in 14 of them scoring just one goal and two assists.

He also scored one goal in the European Champions League.
