Jamaican international Leon Bailey suffered an injury during his first training session with Italian Serie A giants AS Roma on Wednesday.
The 28 year old picked up the injury just hours after signing the contract to make his season long loan deal from Aston Villa official.
Bailey is expected to undergo tests tomorrow and could miss up to 3 weeks of action.
Bailey was coming to the end of the training session when he stopped and clutched his leg.
The extent of the injury, remains unclear, but is expected to miss Roma’s Serie A season opener against Bologna and potentially remain sidelined until after the international break in early September.
