Barcelona and Inter Milan drew 3-3 and will go into the second leg of their Champions League semifinal on level terms after the Catalan side came from behind twice in Spain, on Wednesday.
Inter came out flying, with Marcus Thuram scoring in the opening minute and Denzel Dumfries doubling their lead 20 minutes later to silence Barcelona fans.
But it wasn’t long before Hansi Flick’s men roared back with two goals to draw level before halftime.
Chances were limited after the break before Dumfries headed in his second goal.
But, like they did in the first half, Barcelona responded well to adversity, scoring a minute later after Raphinha’s shot ricocheted off Yann Sommer and into the Inter net for an own goal.
Inter thought they’d snatched the win with less than 20 minutes remaining, but the goal was called back for an offside violation.
The two teams will meet again in Milan on May 6.
