Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, has announced that he’s working towards finalising a memorandum of understanding, MOU, with his counterpart in Spain.
The MOU is intended to mark a significant step forward in cooperation between the two nations.
Minister Bartlett engaged in high level talks on Tuesday with Spain’s Secretary of state for tourism, Rosario Sánchez Grau.
He says a combination of Jamaica’s vibrant culinary heritage with Spain’s expertise in gastronomy would create unprecedented opportunities for knowledge sharing and cultural exchange.

The staff exchange programme will give tourism professionals from both nations the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in their respective markets, fostering innovation and professional growth.
