Basketballer Charles Garcia of the Belize City Thunder Bolts team is being spared criminal charges after his temper led him to assault a government CEO. The incident was caught on camera where Garcia walked up to CEO Julio Sabido, grabbed his hat and knocked off his glasses. Best information to our newsroom is that CEO Sabido has filed a police report but only as a reference. In other words, no charges are being levied against Garcia, at least not today. Love News understands that the incident happened on Saturday night inside the Sacred Heart Auditorium where a basketball match was taking place between Cayo Western Ballaz and Belize City Thunder Bolts. At around ten o’clock when the game was wrapping up, Sabido began shouting the words “eject him’ and that was when Garcia walked up to the CEO and assaulted him.
