Battle For CARIFTA Games Spot Begins Friday

Champions Jamaica will seek to return to winning ways when they take on Barbados in the third round of the CG United women’s Super50 competition at Conaree Sports Club, on Friday.

The Jamaicans sit third in the standings with 10 points following Wednesday’s 8-Wickets loss to Guyana, Barbados who are undefeated after two rounds top the table with 15 points.

The are followed by the Windward Islands on 13 points.

In fourth is Trinidad and Tobago with nine points, with Guyana 5th on seven points and the Leeward Islands sits at the foot of the table with two points.

In other third round games the Leeward Islands will battle Guyana at Warner Park and Trinidad and Tobago face the Windward Islands at St. Paul’s in Basseterre.
