BDF Moves Recruitment Process Fully Online

The Belize Defence Force is taking its recruitment process fully digital as it launches applications for Intake Number 70, requiring all prospective recruits to complete an online registration before reporting for recruitment day. The new system marks a significant shift from previous years, with the BDF introducing a streamlined digital application process aimed at making recruitment more efficient and ensuring candidates are better prepared before assessments begin. Under the new system, all applicants must first complete the online application using a Google account and ensure they have reliable internet access before the registration deadline. Recruitment activities are set for Saturday, July 11, at 7:00 a.m., but only those who have completed the online process will be eligible to move forward.  The BDF says applicants must be Belizean citizens between the ages of 18 and 26 and possess either a Primary School Certificate or a High School Certificate. Candidates will also need to provide a birth certificate or passport, Social Security card, educational qualifications, a recent police record, and two letters of recommendation.  Once registered, applicants will report on July 11 to undergo a series of evaluations, including aptitude and potential testing, physical fitness assessments, and medical and psychological pre-screening. The BDF is also reminding candidates to keep their phones active and regularly monitor their email, as further instructions regarding medical assessments, psychological screening, and subsequent stages of the recruitment process will be communicated electronically.  The Defence Force says the transition to a fully online application system is designed to modernize the recruitment process while improving efficiency and communication with applicants.
