Police have arrested and charged a Belize Defence Force soldier for sexually assaulting a restaurant worker. 28-year-old Emil Fernando was charged on Tuesday. The incident happened in the Orange Walk District. The victim reported to police that whilst working at the establishment, four men came in to eat and purchased beers. While she was clearing the table, one of the men reportedly touched her inappropriately. Fernando was arrested shortly after.
