Belize Audubon Society Launches Free Sapling Giveaway for Earth Day

As Earth Day 2026 approaches, the Belize Audubon Society is inviting citizens to step up and become “Greening Across Belize Ambassadors”.  Today, the organization launched a special initiative to promote reforestation and environmental stewardship by offering free mahogany tree saplings to the public.  The Belize Audubon Society encourages everyone to participate in this collective effort to bolster the country’s natural canopy. Interested residents can pick up their free sapling, while supplies last, at the Guanacaste National Park or the Belize Audubon Society Office on Taiwan Street in Belize City.
