Belize Celebrates Older Person’s Week With Fun Day at Digi Park

“Advocating for Healthy and Inclusive Aging” is the theme for this year’s Older Person’s Week underway through to October 3, in Belize. Today, our older persons were treated to a fun day of activities including dancing and games at Digi Park courtesy of the Belize City Council. Executive Director of HelpAge Ivorine Bulwer told love News that these activities are fundamental to promoting healthy aging.

The 2021 Population and Housing Census records older persons as being 6% of our population.
