Belize City Council Supervisor on Bail After Marijuana Trafficking Charge

A supervisor of the Belize City Council is out on bail after charges were levied against him in connection with his arrest in mid-September. Neal was found in possession of a controlled drug, 91 grams of marijuana.

The 32-year-old of 6431 Periwinkle Street, Belize City, was busted on Monday, September 15, 2025, when police claimed he tried to conceal the drug by throwing it away after seeing the officer arriving.

Yesterday, Neal was present at court number six before Magistrate Mannan Dennison, where he was read a single charge of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply 91 grams of cannabis under the offence of drug trafficking. Neal was given a police bail.
