34-year-old Kahline Thurton, a domestic of #12 Euphrates Avenue, appeared unrepresented before Magistrate Neeshad Mohammed in Court #7, where she was charged with two counts of possession of utensils. The charges stem from separate incidents in which police allegedly found Thurton with two crack pipes. The first pipe, measuring 8¾ centimeters in length, was reportedly discovered on May 23. The second, a metal pipe measuring 2⅓ inches, was allegedly found on May 25. In court, Thurton pleaded guilty to the first charge but denied the second. “That was not a pipe,” she told the court, shaking her head. For the first offence, she was fined $300 plus $5 court cost, payable by July 9, 2026, in default of which she will serve
three months in prison. On the second charge, Thurton was granted bail in the sum of $800 plus one surety of the same amount, which she met. The matter is set to continue July 20.
