Belize Gears Up for Third Investment Summit to Boost Regional Ties

Belize is preparing to host the third edition of the Belize Investment Summit. Organized by the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Finance, Investment, and Economic Development, the high-profile event aims to attract both local and international investors while positioning Belize as a rising economic force in the region. This year’s summit will be held under the theme “Bridging Markets, Building Resilience,” and will showcase the country’s growing potential as a strategic connector between CARICOM, Central America, and North America. According to Lincoln Blake, Director of the Investment Policy and Compliance Unit at the OPM, Belize has set a long-term goal of becoming a major investment hub for Central America by the year 2030.

Blake also explained that the summit is designed to benefit businesses of all sizes. In addition to large-scale investment projects, the event offers opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to connect with potential investors, gain insight, and explore equity partnerships.

The summit will take place from September 3 to 5, in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.
