Belize Hotel Association Awards Educational Grants to 15 Students

Fifteen students are receiving a helping hand with their education, after the Belize Hotel Association awarded educational grants today at Biltmore Plaza. Now in its fourth year, the initiative provides financial assistance to students to help with the costs of pursuing their studies. For the recipients, the support can help ease some of those expenses while allowing them to remain focused on their education and future goals. Among this year’s recipients is 15-year-old Amy Garcia, who shared what it means to be selected for the educational grant and how the assistance will help her continue her studies.

The educational grant is also part of the Belize Hotel Association’s continued effort to support young people and contribute to their development. BHA President Reynaldo Malik explains the importance of the initiative and why the Association continues to invest in students.

With fifteen students receiving assistance this year, the Belize Hotel Association is continuing a program that has now reached its fourth year, giving students additional support as they work toward their educational goals.
