Belize Police “Enforcers” Place Third in March and Shoot Competition

The Belize Police Department’s “Enforcers” secured third place in a challenging March and Shoot Competition held today. Sixteen teams participated in the event, which began with a nine-mile run from Boom Junction to the Hattieville Firing Range. Upon reaching the range, competitors were required to crawl approximately fifty metres to their assigned firing positions before engaging targets and attempting to knock down fallen plates within two minutes.  The police team was led by Captain Police Constable J. Trapp and included officers drawn from several units and precincts across the country. Superintendent Glenn Caliz, Officer in Charge of Training, along with firearms instructors Corporals Tobby Moreira and Paul Martinez, also provided logistical support.
