The Belize Postal Service has officially launched its 2026 Definitive Stamp Issue under the theme, “Celebrating Belize,” a collection designed to showcase the country’s heritage, culture, achievements and national identity. The initiative, spearheaded by the Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy and Logistics in collaboration with the Belize Postal Service, features stamps highlighting the people, places and milestones that have helped shape Belize’s story. The definitive stamps will be issued throughout the 2026 to 2030 period and are intended to reflect Belize’s beauty, diversity and resilience while preserving the nation’s history through philately. Officials say each design was carefully selected to celebrate Belize’s rich cultural landscape and to serve as a lasting reminder of the country’s identity for both Belizeans and stamp collectors around the world. At today’s launch, former Postmaster General Marsha Price said the new definitive series represents more than a collection of stamps. She says it is a meaningful way to preserve Belize’s history, celebrate the nation’s accomplishments and promote its unique identity both locally and internationally.
Following today’s launch, the Belize Postal Service says the “Celebrating Belize” definitive series will be released throughout the 2026 to 2030 period, giving Belizeans and collectors alike the opportunity to celebrate the country’s rich heritage through every stamp. Officials say the collection is intended to preserve Belize’s history, honor its achievements and ensure the nation’s story continues to be shared with future generations.
