Belize River Valley Road to Close Temporarily Near Bermudian Landing Bridge

Motorists travelling along the Belize River Valley Road are being advised of a temporary closure near the Bermudian Landing Bridge tomorrow.  The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) says the road will be closed to vehicular traffic from nine-thirty in the morning until eleven o’clock, a period of approximately one hour and thirty minutes.  The closure will facilitate crane operations and the movement of bridge beams as part of the ongoing rehabilitation of the Bermudian Landing Bridge.  Motorists and other road users are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly, exercise caution near the work area and follow the instructions of traffic-management personnel.  The Ministry has apologized for any inconvenience and is asking for the public’s cooperation while the bridge works continue.
