Belize Territorial Volunteers’ Sarstoon Expedition Ends Peacefully

The Belize Territorial Volunteers’ annual Sarstoon expedition ended peacefully yesterday, despite the presence of Guatemalan military vessels in the area.  The group went ahead with its plans, but instead of the usual flag-planting on Sarstoon Island, participants joined a flag-raising ceremony at the BDF’s Forward Operating Base.
