The latest recognition adds to a growing list of accolades earned throughout his career. Among them is his appointment as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for service to the community, as well as a Meritorious Award from the Governor General of Belize, a Lifetime Achievement Award from SoundFest, and the title of Music Ambassador for Belize. Widely regarded as one of Belize’s musical pioneers, Alcoser has spent decades promoting Belizean music at home and abroad, helping to elevate the country’s cultural identity on the regional and international stage.
